Each spin starts in the bottom left corner: the symbols appear there and travel in a spiral until every cell is taken. Six symbols make up the paytable. What happens to a winning chain
All the symbols in a winning combination explode, and a Wild appears in their place. Once that Wild is itself part of a winning combination, it explodes as well and destroys every symbol adjacent to it.
Crystals and the four modes
Crystals pile up as you play and do not expire; a special window at the bottom of the screen displays how many you have. Free spins are triggered once the crystal symbol reaches the central cell.
