Fishing: the fisherman's catch and your stake

In Fishing, the fisherman casts his line once your bet has been placed, and the amount of the initial stake is fixed ahead of the game. On the Algerian site of 1xBet, Fishing is listed in the 1xGames catalogue, and whatever comes out of the water, be it a fish, a boot or a crocodile, carries odds of its own.

To collect, press "Take winnings" before the fisherman catches a crocodile. The payout is your stake multiplied by the odds of the fish he caught: if a fish at x2.4 is his only catch when you press the button, you receive 2.4 times the stake.

Catch odds from lowest to highest

The game screen shows the "Total odds" readout on the right, down in the water. Higher up, a banner under the "Results" button reads "Place a bet", and "Statistics" sits next to "Results" along the top edge.

Boot, piranha and crocodile

At x0.5, the piranha is the only fish below x1: when the fisherman catches one, half the stake comes back to you. A boot hands back the stake itself, so in both cases you get back no more than the initial stake. The eight other fish, between x1.2 and x5, each pay more than the stake when caught alone. If a crocodile comes up before you have taken your winnings, the stake is lost and the game ends.
