Mahjong Mania: the mahjong slot by The Hood on 1xBet Algeria
Mahjong Mania is a The Hood slot on a field of five reels and four rows, paid in Pay Ways: three or more identical tiles on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost one. Winning tiles vanish in a cascade, a progressive multiplier climbs with every cascade, and three or more Scatters open free spins in which that multiplier moves twice as fast.
The mahjong table
The reels sit in a red-and-gold frame topped by a pagoda roof, between two red lanterns. The tiles carry mahjong patterns: the red ideogram 中, the green 發, the sign 八萬, bamboos, circles and a white tile with a blue border. Above the reels a bar shows x1, x2, x3 and x5 with the current value lit; below are the red spin button with golden arrows, the turbo lightning bolt, autoplay, a Lucky Bet switch set to OFF and a basket that opens the shop. The backdrop is a hill with a bonsai.
Pay Ways, cascades and multiplier
A win needs at least three matching symbols on neighbouring reels, paid from left to right; if several winning symbols land on the same reel the win is multiplied accordingly, and symbols on reels 1, 2 and 4 do not form a combination. The wins of one spin are added together. With every combination the tiles involved disappear and new ones drop; if a new combination forms, the cascade goes on. The progressive multiplier starts with the first cascade and rises one step with each further one: x1, x2, x3 and so on.
Gold-plated tiles, Wild and Scatter
On reels 2, 3 and 4 any ordinary symbol can appear gold-plated; if it takes part in a winning combination, it turns into a Wild in the next round. The Wild itself lands on all reels and substitutes for any ordinary symbol. The Scatter settles on any reel, one per reel.
Scatters | Free spins |
|---|---|
3 | 12 |
4 | 14 |
5 | 16 |
During the free spins the multiplier advances in steps of two, x2, x4, x6, x10, does not reset before the series ends and applies to every winning combination. The rest of the studio's catalogue is on the The Hood page, and the providers directory leads to the other studios.
Lucky Bet, shop and cap
The Lucky Bet switch raises the stake automatically with the free spins in view; the bet can then no longer be set by hand, and the option exists only in the regular game. The basket opens the in-game shop, where the free spins can be bought. The rules state that a maximum win per round exists without giving its value: once it is reached, the round stops and the capped amount is paid.
Demo, dinars and phone
Like most titles in the slot catalogue, Mahjong Mania comes with a free demo, so the reels can turn before any deposit. For real money, a 1xBet account in Algeria is kept in Algerian dinars (DZD); the live casino adds dealer-run tables to the machines. On iPhone the app is available only through the App Store, with the steps on the iOS page; Android users download the APK from the site.
