France. Marseille Vivaux: the harness racing card, race by race
France. Marseille Vivaux gathers the harness races that one track stages on one day, as they stand in the pre-match line. Every race keeps its place on the official card, written as "Race" plus a number, and opens on a page of its own. The counter next to the group name only tracks races still on offer, so it ticks down by one at each start as the race that has gone off drops out of the list.
A whole card priced at SP
None of the horses in this group carries a figure; each one is simply marked "SP". Prices on these races are only fixed at the start, which means the card tells you who is running rather than what each horse would pay.

An accumulator is made of selections on events with no link between them: the stake gets multiplied by every selection's odds, and a single loser brings the whole bet down (section 4.2). Different races from the card can therefore be stacked on one ticket, each horse picked from its own race block. In an accumulator the overall price is the product of every line multiplied together, so each added selection lifts the whole ticket.
Stage | What you know about the accumulator |
|---|---|
The slip is confirmed | the chosen horses and the amount staked, with no price figures yet |
Each race goes off | the SP for that horse is set |
The last race on the ticket starts | the combined odds are known |
Official results come in | the ticket wins only if every horse on it won its race |
The rest of the day's trotting, track by track, sits under Trotting. Staking in Algerian dinars starts with signing up for 1xBet.

France. Marseille Vivaux: accumulators and stake caps
A race in my France. Marseille Vivaux accumulator was cancelled. Have I lost the ticket?
No. The cancelled leg is dropped, and the ticket is settled on the legs left standing (section 3, point 10); a single bet on the cancelled race is refunded.
Why can an accumulator have a lower stake cap than a single?
Each selection has its own maximum stake, and those caps differ by sport and event. Put legs with different caps on one ticket and the smallest of them governs the entire accumulator (section 3, point 2).
