Q2 Parklands: the greyhound meeting and its races
Q2 Parklands is the name of a greyhound track and of the group that brings together, inside the Greyhound Racing section, the races it stages. Each race forms its own block: start time, GMT time, then the dogs entered, each shown with its number, name and price.
Q2 Parklands races one after another
The races follow the order of their start times. The same number comes back from one race to the next without meaning the same dog: it is the pairing of number and name that identifies a runner. Opening a race leads to its page and the Winner market.
Close finishes and withdrawals
The rules contain nothing specific to greyhounds, so their general provisions decide the following cases:
Situation at Q2 Parklands | Effect on a Winner bet |
|---|---|
One dog declared first | normal settlement |
Two dogs announced as joint winners | the stake is halved before the calculation |
Three or more dogs announced as winners | bet settled at odds of 1 |
Dog withdrawn before the off | every bet placed on it is void |
Comparison markets of the higher-than type and head-to-heads sit outside the simultaneous finish rule, whereas the Winner block falls under it. In an accumulator, a selection voided by a withdrawal is simply taken out of the calculation and the rest of the slip is settled as usual; as a single, the stake goes back to the account.
Building a slip on Q2 Parklands
Dogs picked from different Q2 Parklands races can make up an accumulator. Two dogs from the same race cannot, since one winning rules the other out. A dedicated control empties the coupon in one go, sparing you the line-by-line removal when the ticket needs a fresh start.
