Italy. Serie A live: Serie A games in progress
Italy. Serie A live is Italy's Serie A once a game has started. Twenty teams play thirty-eight rounds, and three of them go down to Serie B at the end.
A play-off match with no extra time
Since 2022-23, two teams level on points for first place settle it in a one-off game hosted by whichever of them ranks higher on the tie-breakers. If that match is drawn, it goes straight to penalties without extra time. In the fight to stay up, a tie between 17th and 18th is played over two legs, again with no extra time: penalties if the aggregate is level.
Situation | How it is settled |
|---|---|
Level on points for the title | A single match at the better-placed club |
That match ends level | Penalties straight away |
Level between 17th and 18th | Two legs, then penalties if the aggregate is level |
On a live match page the minute appears alongside the half and the score of each period, while corners and cards are counted under each team. Search by market opens a market without scrolling.
